STAND UP TO CANCER ZIMBABWE

 

Progress is especially slow in curing cancer in Zimbabwe. Funding for Cancer has been a fraction compared to HIV in African countries yet already there are more deaths in the world of cancer than from AIDS, TB and malaria combined.

Therefore, attention needs to be brought to cancer. In Zimbabwe, cancer is a major cause of morbidity and mortality with over 5000 new diagnoses and over 1500 deaths per year.

Thanks to the Ministry of Health and Child Welfare for launhing the first National Cancer Prevention and Control Strategy for Zimbabwe this year. Clearly, the Government has stood up for cancer, will you ? We would be very grateful to partner with you in ensuring the much needed progress in cancer awareness, treatment and research progress in the country. Stand up to cancer by

3.  Advocating for good healthy lifestyles

4.  Going for regular screenings
